"Joel Feeney is a guitarist singer songwriter based in Barcelona. His music has been described by some as Psychedelic folk rock reggae!!
Born in the UK, he was raised listening to The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, Led Zeppelin, Eric Clapton, Jeff Beck, The Who, Madness and many more before developing a keen taste for the electric guitar. It was later that Joel started experimenting with song writing on the acoustic guitar. His song lyrics are passionate and powerful and some songs in particular present a strong distaste for the political and ruling classes who in his opinion are directly responsible for so much of the suffering and poverty being experienced by so many people all over the planet today.
However, it’s not all doom and gloom; when listening to Joel perform, you feel a sense of hope for the future. With soulful melodies, spiritual undertones, picking guitar, the occasional blues or rock riff thrown in for good measure and a real a passion for what he does, you will not be disappointed."
