The band turns unique singing traditions from different parts of the world into one intriguing entity. This fusion takes place without compromise, and each tradition keeps its distinct character. During the concert the audience will hear the iso-polyphonic lament from Albania, rural cantu a tenore from Sardinia, the beko style from the southern part of Madagascar, and the Belgian folk song. Both the band's repertoire, as well as the way of performance – often including parallel singing of songs from different traditions which have a common tone or rhythm – is a great example of the power of songs. In such a dialogue particular cultures can complement and enrich each other. The band consists of musicians usually living and creating in multi-ethnic Brussels.
